Campbell Point House

European inspired wedding of

Ellen and Winston

Ellen and Winston wanted an old world style wedding at a chateau. Originally planning to get married on Lake Como, the logistics of a European wedding were just too hard for their family and friends, they then found the ideal location right here on the Bellarine Peninsula. Campbell Point house was the perfect option with it’s European charm and the grandeur they were after.

Engaging the services of Eliska from Ruffles and Bells they wanted a beautifully styled wedding. Attention was shown to every detail from hand drawn and pressed invitations, elaborate couture gowns, vintage cars and of course dreamy floral installations. The austere interior of the building needed some softening with branches of seasonal dogwood, the sunny faces of tree peonies, cascading orchids and lots of garden roses.

The outdoor ceremony was framed by a whimsical floral archway, so pretty with clusters of babies breath and feminine, but neutral, flowers. The bridesmaids wore blush pink gowns and their white bouquets were a love a lovely contrast.

Inside the reception room, table top towers of cascading flowers helped soften the space along with pretty linens and velvet chairs.

The celebration was elegant and full of old world charm.
