Stones of the Yarra Valley

Alicia and Tim

Set at one of our favourite venues, Alicia and Tim married at Stones of the Yarra Valley on a gorgeous November day. With a theme of abundance, our team were instructed to create a lush foresty-floral wonderland where the guests were to feel like they had stepped into a wedding like no other. Rich dark tones teamed with floral branches and seasonal roses were used to dramatic effect. The impressive floral back drop for the ceremony was then moved inside the barn so guests could enjoy the flowers all evening.

No detail was left unnoticed for Alicia and Tim’s party in the barn. Burgundy and blush table linens, personalised favours, stylish and modern stationery along with so so many flowers and candles. Alicia wanted the barn to feel like you were dining in an overgrown enchanted forest. We created a canopy of greenery with kris-crossing garlands that spanned the length of the room. And the impressive Miss lady bird cake was decorated with as many flowers as we could fit!

Alicia was such a fabulous bride to work with, she had ideas but really trusted us to interpretate them, giving us plenty of freedom in our designs.

Alicia and Tim’s wedding was featured on Ivory Tribe

“I want to thank you so much for everything!! The chapel and barn looked absolutely incredible, and so did all the bouquets - I’m still so in love with mine.

I squealed in delight when I saw those giant burgundy peonies - unfortunately all the guests took them before I got a chance to.

I received so many compliments on the day about the florals, and one of my bridesmaids can’t stop talking about hoping she can have something as amazing at her own wedding.

Secretly wishing I could do it all over again, just so I could get the chance to have you work your magic again!”

Alicia was so happy with her flowers she's recommended I Heart Flowers to all her friends.
