A modern moody garden wedding at Heidi MOMA

Piyumi and Oliver engaged Kath from Bow Creatives services, while still acknowledging their Sri Lankan Heritage they wanted their wedding to have a modern, sophisticated fell.

Due to Covid we all went on quite a journey together with several postponements, venue changes and last minute changes. What was originally going to be an all white winter wedding turned into early summer wedding full of rich tones, fabulous blooms and some seriously sexy styling. The change of venue to Heidi MOMA, allowed Kath to take a modern spin on the colours and table decorations. Gorgeous smokey glass wear, black candle sticks and stone elements gave the tablescapes depth and character. The flowers were mostly rich dark burgundies with pops of blush and white.

Being early December there were plenty of seasonal roses and peonies available, in particular there were the most spectacular garden roses in deep red tones that in some lights look almost black. They smelt wonderful and were such a joy to work with
